Congratulations to Chard School’s team of 4 mathematicians who took part in the Wellington School Maths Challenge in November, competing against nearly 60 other schools from the South West. They put in a fantastic performance, finishing with 17 points – this was just 4 points behind the winning team and one of the highest scores that we have achieved at this competition in recent years. A special mention for Year 5 Wilf E-E. who stepped up to compete in this Year 6 team and for Julia L. who was also competing up a year.
