“Our children hurry to each class, not because they are late, but because they are motivated…
…They have muddy knees because they have the freedom to play…
…and their uniforms are not always straight because life is for living.”
Learning for Life
Chard School is an independent preparatory day school for 2 to 11 year old boys and girls with an excellent academic record, situated in Chard, close to the meeting point of Somerset, Devon and Dorset.
We aim here to give a flavour of what it is which makes our school so special, and to encourage parents to want to find out more, by sending for our prospectus, and visiting the school to meet the staff, see the children at work and play, and see for themselves what a special place Chard School is.
