The whole school had a super day in the sunshine on 17th June at Longleat Safari Park where they came face-to-face with some of the ‘big five’ they have studied in their ‘Africa’ theme this term! To kick off the day there was much excitement on the Safari as a whole host of animals were spotted including lion, rhino, giraffe and zebra. The children then got up close and personal with a range of mini beasts in the handling area and had super fun on the boat trip feeding sea lions and spotting gorillas and monkeys. To top off a wonderful day there was fun in the play park, a train ride and ice creams all round!
What a wonderful and rewarding way to mark another successful school year! Our thanks to Mr Sills for organising this fantastic trip, we all had a ‘wild’ time!
