Symes and Horner had an amazing first visit to ROAM Forest School on Friday! Following a safety talk on the forest and its boundaries, the children played a woodland ninja game which was great fun! Next everyone was split into two groups and set a den building exercise. The children collaborated to create a waterproof den – which successfully remained dry when they tested it at the end! After snack time the children enjoyed free play in the forest, using the mud kitchens, tree climbing and playing with the tyre/rope swings. The group finished the morning making wooden pendants and were delighted with the end results. Symes and Horner can’t wait to go back to ROAM again in a few weeks!
