Upper Cerdics explore Devon

On Monday, the Upper Cerdics enjoyed a day trip to East Devon. Armed with a camera each, they went to a variety of mathematical and geological sites, making a photo journal as they went. Firstly, they observed the change in a river in Honiton as it cut across a meander to form a waterfall, studying its geological properties; they then visited the National Trust house ‘A La Ronde’, a quirky 18th-century house with fascinating interior decoration and collections; next stop was Budleigh Salterton where they examined the sandstone cliffs and pebble beds that helped give the beach its beautiful array of pebbles, before finally reaching Branscombe for an impromptu swim! A great time was had by all!
