The World’s biggest lesson!

The World’s biggest lesson!
Year 4, 5 and 6 students took part in the world’s biggest lesson last Tuesday. With 40,000 other schools across the globe, they were creating models of DNA and learning about the way it codes the building blocks of living things. The children were fascinated by the incredibly complex structure, but simple secret code, that DNA has. Since then they have been looking at how this code can create 20 different amino acids which in turn code for thousands of different proteins!
