Five pupils from Chard School were lucky enough to be chosen to attend the UK Space Agency’s first ever Schools Space Conference with Head of Science, Richard Lucas, on Wednesday. Tim Peake was the special guest of the conference and the children were thrilled to see him speaking about his time aboard the International Space Station and to meet him face-to-face. The children gave a presentation to a large group of other children and adults, on the exciting work that they have been doing throughout the year at Chard School, inspired by the Principia Space Mission. They were fortunate enough to talk personally with Tim about his mission and ask him questions about his time on the ISS. An unforgettable day for our pupils!
