Monday 30th September – Friday 1st October

Message from the Friends:

Many of you have already sent your forms and money for the Panto trip – thank you!  It is important that we have exact numbers for the coach trips to and from the theatre.  Last year a large number made their own arrangements on the return journey which meant we paid for one coach that was not needed.  This was a great shame as the money could have been better spent to benefit the children.  The deadline for forms and money is Monday 21 October.

The Second Hand Shop will be open on Tuesday 1 October from 8.40 to 9 am.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be open for business on Monday from 8.30 to 9 am and from 3.30 to 4 pm in the Cerdic Room.  The Fair will run for the whole week.  There is a wonderful selection of books to choose from for all different age groups.  Please ensure that you or your child brings the exact money with you.  If your child selects a book and does not have the right money, we will reserve the book for them until they return with funds.  This is a great fund raiser as the school get a percentage back in sales as well as some free books for the Library.

Any sewing bees out there?  Please contact friends@chardschool.co.uk if you are willing to stitch a few items for the Christmas Fair.

Harvest Festival: Thank you so much for the very generous donations – Forefront Church are very grateful indeed.  The Harvest Festival was lovely – thank you to the children and to Mrs Squires and Mrs Coleman.
