A Note from the Friends:

We are delighted to announce that the Friends will be funding the educational activity day for the whole school on Friday.  This will be led by Glade (http://www.glade.org/) who will be telling the story of the banana through activities highlighting people stories.  The activities are designed to generate discussion and encourage reflective learning.   

We will be holding our next Committee Meeting on Wednesday so please feel free to contact us via our email friends@chardschool.co.uk if you have any ideas for fund-raising activities. 

The second hand uniform shop will be open on Monday 4 March, 8.50-9.20 am.

House Cross Country: This will now take place on Thursday 28th February @ 2.30pm, Holyrood Academy.  Please can all Junior children have full games kit in in School for this event?

Violin lessons:   Mrs Lewenden has space for violin teaching.  Please let the Office know if you are interested.

Sainsbury’s vouchers:  we are now collecting vouchers – the collection box is outside the First Aid Room.

.Absences:  Please ring the Office before 8.45 am if your child is going to be absent from School.

Running Club: 8.00am Running Club (anyone) with Miss Taswell

Swimming: Beginners group to be picked up at 3.30pm and upper group at 4pm

Student Council: 3.45pm Science Lab

Chess Club: 3.30pm – 4.30pm with Mr De Bowen
