A Note from the Friends:

DUCK RACE – Thurs 23 May from 4-6 pm.  The duck board will be in the playground from Monday at drop off and collection only.  £1 per duck.  Please do not put your name on the board unless you pay for your duck.  A duck quiz will be in book bags on Friday.  £1 to enter the quiz and win a prize.  Helpers required for car park, BBQ, ice creams, teas and coffees.  Please give your name to a Friend. 

SUMMER FAIR – Sat 8 June from noon-2 pm.  The hamper lists will be on the notice board on Monday, please give generously and leave donations in the Cerdic Room.  Raffle tickets will be in book bags on Friday and in addition to our hampers, a KINDLE will be the star prize.  Donations required for Mrs Slade’s bottle stall, Mrs Snell and Mrs Bilboe’s craft stall, plant stall and cake stall.  Helpers required for BBQ, ice creams, ice creams, teas and coffees. 

OTHER – If you are purchasing from Yellow Moon, please don’t forget to quote the Friends source code at the point of purchase SCH1223.  Every little penny helps!  Second hand shop will be open at 8.50 am on Mon 3 Jun

Student Council Meeting:  Mrs Dumble was very impressed with the new Student Council Representatives.  They came up with lots of good ideas and the minutes will be published very soon.

Music in Assembly:  It was wonderful to see and hear every single Junior play their recorder in front of a packed house on Wednesday morning.   Well done to the children and thank you to Mrs Coleman.

Games kit:  It is fine for the children to come to school in their games kit if they have games first thing.  However, they must also have their uniform in school to change back into for the rest of the school day.  Please note – children should always have their games kit in school, whether games is timetabled for them or not.
