French Day

French Day
IMG_3613

On Wednesday 18th November, the school was overrun with berets, strings of onions, striped t-shirts and moustaches as the whole school got involved in our annual French Day. All the pupils enjoyed a boules tournament, a cultural quiz and a foodie treasure hunt. As ever, the highlight was a full French breakfast including pains au chocolate, croissants, baguettes, madelaines, brioche and lots of other goodies. There were prizes galore at the prize giving ceremony including giant gold coins for the winning quiz and treasure hunt teams! Well done to Edward who took home a French Sticker book as first prize for his amazing, individually designed French t-shirt and beret. Congratulations also go to Macushla and Sophie who came joint second as ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ and ‘French woman with basket full of pastries’! Bravo tout le monde!
